The Boynton Beach Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Committee is partnering with the Boynton Beach CRA and the City of Boynton Beach to host a series of themed events for the month of January that encourages participation from the entire community with activities that enforce the philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

As part of the mission, the committee’s month long celebration includes: The 3rd Annual MLK Parade, The Unity Day Celebration, Celebration Gala and the MLK Day of Service (community service projects) and Music on the Rocks free concert.

These family oriented activities not only celebrate his life and work, but will assist in repairing community relationships by bridging the barriers of separation , as well as giving a spark to a much needed rebirth for remembering the importance of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dates of the events:

Jan 7 - 3rd Annual MLK Parade - 2 – 4 pm Parade travels North on Seacrest Blvd. from Ocean Ave. to MLK Blvd.

The Unity Day Celebration - 3 – 7 pm following the parade at Sara Sims Park 209 NW 9th Court

Jan 15 – Celebration Gala - 6:30 pm Reception 7:00 pm Dinner
Benvenuto Restaurant 1730 N Federal Hwy.

Jan 16- MLK Day of Service- meet at Ezell Hester Community Center 7:30 am

Jan 20- Music on the Rocks 6 - 10 pm
Ocean Ave. Amphitheatre 129 E Ocean Ave.
