European-style bakery and cafe coming to Boynton Beach

A European-style cafe and bakery is coming to Boynton Beach. The cafe will be in the Riverwalk Plaza at Woolbright Road and Federal Highway and is expected to open in about two months.
The cafe named Bond En Smolders is owned by Ralph Bond and his wife Patricia Smolders. The couple own a similar type of bakery in The Netherlands, and they've owned it for the past 15 years.
The menu has sandwiches, salads, breakfast, coffee, tea, breads and desserts. The coffee will be from Counter Culture Coffee, Bond said.
"So far everybody's very enthusiastic," he said.
Bond plans to open other locations in South Florida.
