Casa Del Mar waterfront community coming to Boynton Beach

At one point it looked like the waterfront community along Federal Highway north of Gateway Boulevard wasn't going to happen. But on Tuesday night, the City Commission gave the project its second and final approval.
The community started as 80 townhomes, and is now down to 69 townhomes and three single-family homes.
Residents who live nearby the site are still opposed to the project. They think the development will lower their property values, and are concerned about traffic and parking problems.
