NINE PIECES OF ICONIC KINETIC ART TO BE INSTALLED IN BOYNTON BEACH
Boynton Beach, FL --- On Sept. 29, kinetic artists, from around the country, will be installing their original pieces of art in preparation for the 2015 International Kinetic Art Exhibit and Symposium, scheduled for Feb. 6-8. The nine pieces, mostly powered by the wind and human interaction, will be installed on S. Seacrest Blvd. and along E. Ocean Ave. The contributing artists are Tom Brewitz (Minnesota); Lin Emery (Louisiana); Jeff Kahn (Pennsylvania); Paul Daniel (Maryland); John King (Colorado) and Bill Woods (Virginia). (For images of the kinetic artwork that will be installed, visit Outdoor Kinetic Art Exhibit.)

These kinetic artworks will be on exhibit for one year. Additional outdoor artworks will be installed in October, November and during the event weekend. The 2015 International Kinetic Art Exhibit and Symposium was created by the Boynton Beach Arts Commission, and produced by the City of Boynton Beach through its Art in Public Places program. It is supported by Equity One, Inc.; Kinetic Art Organization (KAO); International Sculpture Center; Cultural Council of Palm Beach County; Buffalo Wild Wings; Boca Bearings; Hacklab; Solartree Project; Coastal Star; Neighborhood Gallery; Schoolhouse Children's Museum and Learning Center; The Secret Garden Cafe and the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.

The 2015 International Kinetic Art Exhibit and Symposium is a FREE biennial event created to connect the public to one-of-a-kind visual experiences.
