Tropical fish glide over a reef off Boynton Beach.
A couple dozen of Boynton Beach kids are about to have an experience of a lifetime.

The kids, ages 10 to 12, are experiencing Project Seahorse.

About 40 kids from three of the city’s camps are participating. They’ll learn to snorkel from instructors in three days of lessons. Then they’ll be taken out July 28 by dive boats to the shallow Loftus reef off Boynton Beach’s coast.

Check back that Tuesday at pbpost.com to see a full story about the kids snorkeling and what they saw and learned.

Project Seahorse was offered to Riviera Beach kids last year. Learn more about the program here: Project Seahorse
