The Boardwalk Italian Ice & Creamery is the newest Homemade Ice Cream and Dessert eatery in Boynton Beach. This family owned and operated business will open their doors this week for a Grand Opening located at 209 N. Federal Hwy. The Boardwalk will feature homemade on premises Ice Cream, Italian/Water Ices, Frozen Soft Serve Custard, and other Boardwalk desserts including Waffles & Ice Cream, Gelati (a mix of Italian Ice and Custard) Milk Shakes, Sundaes, Banana Splits, Candy and Caramel Apples, Cotton Candy, Caramel Popcorn and a host of Ice Cream treats including Gourmet Ice Creams and Adult flavored Ice Creams and Ices. Special treats also include homemade Zeppoli's, Funnel Cakes, and Cannoli's. The Boardwalk is proud to feature Atlantic City's famous James' and Fralinger's Salt Water Taffy and children's Ice Cream cups. The Boardwalk's signature treat is their famous "Beach Bowl" where every day is a sundae. The Beach Bowl is for small family sharing or large party gatherings. It comes in four different sizes, small, medium, large, extra-large and depending on the chosen size you will get from 4 to 16 scoops of ice cream and an array of other sweet treats that will satisfy any sundae lover.

The owners, Michael Swain and Joseph M. Hurtuk III are first cousins who pride themselves on making and creating the best homemade Ice Cream, Italian Ices, and other boardwalk desserts. Born and raised in New Jersey, Joseph and Michael spent their youth walking the boardwalks of the many seaside towns in their home state. The idea struck them to bring those shore town memories and desserts to many people who now live in South Florida or come here to vacation during the warm winter months. The entire Boardwalk family is looking forward to creating memories for the community as well as becoming a good corporate neighbor to work with local schools, seniors, and youth programs. They see their business as establishing a "Family" relationship with all their customers.
